How it all started...
Pastor Matt and his wife Alissa took over Redemption on October 26, 2015 with only a handful of members and a calling to serve Christ's Body in the Dade City area. They dedicated themselves to expanding the kingdom of God through the foundational beliefs of worship, community and life on mission. After faithfully ministering to their neighborhood for two and a half years from their home before coming to Redemption, the Lord instilled within the Chesser a personal approach to shepherding God's flock.
How it's going...
Through God's providence, after more than a decade of faithfulness to this community, Redemption's reach has expanded to over 150 active members. This growth has facilitated in the annual support of ten missionaries, the giving of tens of thousands of dollars in benevolence to those in need in the Dade City area, and countless new believers, baptisms, and lifelong disciples of Christ.
